Some folks may question why Jeep is expanding its vehicle lineup to include a pickup truck when the brand already has a variety of SUV models that are extremely popular. The short answer is that the automotive market is moving towards increased demands for SUVs and trucks, and Jeep is responding to that demand to provide consumers with more options and variety when looking at pickup trucks. The addition of these new models will also create many new jobs, and is part of an industrialization plan that Jeep originally announced in January 2016.
